Reliable outdoor Wi-Fi requires more than just adding an access point. Most home networks are designed as if everything stops at the exterior wall. Once you start extending Ethernet and PoE outdoors, new considerations come into play—grounding, surge protection, cable selection, routing, and equipment placement.
